Danish-born coach and accompanist Mikael Eliasen is the Hirsig Family Dean of Vocal Studies, Artistic Director of the Curtis Opera Theatre, and Opera and Voice Coach at the Curtis Institute of Music. He joined the Curtis faculty in 1986 and has shaped young vocal artists in programs at Royal Danish Opera, the Opera Studio of Amsterdam, Chautauqua's Voice Program, Curtis's Summerfest and more.
